These are the most widely used in today's Print Industry Security Features;

  1. A Hologram reflective foil surface makes it impossible to duplicate using any printer. It is sold to only approved manufacturers and requires expensive machines that both heat up and then stamp the foil on the cheque stock.

  2. Heat sensitive inks can be used also and are only sold to approved manufacturers. It is a specially formulated ink that when its temperature reaches a certain degree the ink color actually fades and only returns when the temperature drops again below its activation point.

  3. Invisible Fibres are embedded directly into the paper stock and only visible under UV lights. Some companies also use Visible Fibres which you can see as little flecks on the paper.

  4. True Watermarks are embedded into the cheque stock and visible when you hold up to a light source and can be seen as a pattern in the paper.

  5. Micro printing is made up of small words which are difficult to scan or copy and usually found around the border edge of the cheque pantograph or in the signature line.

  6. Toner Fuse protects the printed cheques from being altered with chemicals or scratching.

  7. Multi Language VOID feature is most commonly used along the TOP border edge of the cheque pantograph and sometimes built into the pantograph screen.
