Summer is ‘hopefully’ here!

As the kiddos wrap things up at school, this marks the ‘Official’ start of Summer…I think!? June has been soo chilly and wet, and the garden is off to a VERY slow start, its hard to say that Summer is here. Yup that’s right, June 20th marks the First day of Summer!! And here in Canada, the days of summer are short lived, so planning is a must and taking advantage of the beautiful days is also a MUST.

I mean, don’t get me wrong, I would take a couple of chilly wet days over the threat of forest fires and the smoke any day. So, here I am counting down the days to my planned vacations with my family, and my days volunteering at this years Calgary Music Folk Festival! My lazy afternoons lost in the next best Thriller Novel, enjoying the splendor of my backyard and quick trips out to the mountains to kayak at my leisure!
